I think my Castle Creations Phoneix 35 is toast...I plugged in my battery and every servo and the motor went all out of control jittering like crazy, the motor revved up and down. I looked at the ESC and noticed the heat shrink melted on one of the large "chips?" at the back towards the capacitors. I put my finger on it and it was extremely hot. I don't see any reason for this. I got all the regular start up tones and everything. Do you guys think its dead? I only have about 30 minutes of flight time on this esc. It sat for about a year after I lost hope in my trex.
