Default link rods 450se

building my 450 se ,and I noticed that the link rod ends are numbered 1 - 9 on one end and A on the other , they appear to all be the same? are they ? i know the link rod are all different lengths, but are the ends different sizes? thanks

All of the ball joints are the same. The numbers mean nothing to us, but the 'A' has to face outwards from the linkage ball.

Hey, if you haven't already, go to helifreak and check out the Finless Bob video's in the Tech Room. They are awesome and will take you from building to setting up, tracking.....everything you'd need to know about your trex and he even covers radio programming and flying.

thanks, I have watched some of the finless videos, they have been very helpful, I am pretty excited about getting my trex built,it has taken some time to collect all the parts ,

Jfast i too just got an SE - my first build ever - dont know if you saw my post a few days ago but all those parts almost gave me a heart attack when i opened the box [sm=angry.gif] ... but my build is going very nicely - i actually like it ... took me about 25 minute to get my motor in last night .. all i have left is the tail and my electronics. Still have not decided on radio - i have a Futaba 6eXH but may get a DX6i .... we'll see.
how is you build going?

build is going well , so far this is where i stand,, g770 gyro, dx6i radio, have most of the heli built, Fed Ex lost my shipment,, was waiting on servos, still pretty excited, it is a sexy heli, glad i did not go with b400.

i was going to go w/ blade 400 too - and even though i am sure i will need a little help with tweeking this bird i am glad i chose this over the RTF ... i have learned so much about helis already.....happy building bud.
