Default Help...Vibration issues TREX SE V2

I have vibration on both my trex se v2 and copter x se v2. Both are using 401, S9650, HS65MG. There is no vibration when it is hovering. The vibration stops when the blades are at hovering speed. I tried removing the blades and run the motor at full speed and did not vibrate. I'm assuming my blades has something to do with it. I have align 335 pro wood blades. I didn't mind the vibration b4 because the helios are fine when hovering but I put my Trex 450 se v2 in a heliartist 500d fuselage. It vibrates the canopy off. If the vibration is normal, I need information on how to minimize it. Thanks in advance.

Careful running your motor at full speed with your blades off, as you could overspeed your motor...If you started noticing it after a crash or so, could be a few things like main shaft, feathering spindle etc. etc. But it could just be very well your blades are on to tight...Try tipping your heli to the side, and give it a few mild shakes, the blades should just barely move very little...Hard to explain, but you don't want them to tight nor to loose...

Anyhow tell us how it goes, and I wish ya luck...The new fuselage sounds awesome...!

Have a good one,

Jeff

Thanks. I have crashed both helios but have replace the broken parts with new ones. I'm trying out new blades and see if it helps. I'll let you know.

Had the same issue with my V2 this week. Found that at high rpm the blades were very slightly out of track. You could only see it in certain conditions, made a 1/4 turn on the rods and its all sweet. Before that the vibration was throwing the canopy grommets off. It may help, for me I need to learn to wear my glasses when setting up the heli!!!!!

What rods did you do a 1/4 turn? The linkage rods. Which ones? Thanks.

Had to turn the longer rod, swash plate to flybar arm 1/4 turn. It was so subtle I could only see they were out of track in the bright sun. Hope that helps.

Well mine was tracking bad and vibrating then I adjusted the linkages and was running like it was built by a pro. Well I soon realived that helis are not weedeaters and the vibration and tracking problem was back. I got bored the other night and got it flying again and once again was fling smooth. Then the next day the vibe was back and I am lost.

I'll rework the linkage again and redo my blades. What buffles me is i got the vibration without even crashing. Oh well. Looks like I'll be putting on some more bling bling since I'll be working on my birds again. I got a metal skids to replace the plastic ones. I also have metal antirotation bracket to put on the trex. My trex is on a heliartist 500d fuselage. Geeez...When is this going to stop.
