Just got a new Trex 450SA with E-Flite S-75H servos. 4 of them. All for the Frame and the tail servo as well. Also has a G110 Gyro. Pretty much the same Electronics that's in a Blade 400. I see the 450 SA is not that much bigger so i'm wondering if these servos will be good for basic Sport Flying,,no 3d,,,,Just basic hovering around...Can i get some feedback on this please....on a tight budget now and just want to leave the electronics in this heli but before i Fly, i just want to know if anyone has used this in-expensive servos in a 450sa...The Manual does actually suggest these S-75 Servos for basic Sports Flying to my surprise but just want to know if anyone has ever Flown a 450sa with these type of servos and G110 Gyro....

i have used the s75 that came with dx6 and it was good for a while. they do however develop slop after 30 or 40 flights depending on style. yep even the trexsa manual they have the s75 for setup and you shouldnt have any problem using it. i dont have the g110 but it should work just fine.

ohh.,,,,thats great,,,i appreciate your feedback. i als have this same servo on the tail. i do however plan on changing the tail servo,,or im wondering now if i should just leave it..Havent Flown it yet..im putting together electronics as we speak. This is really a small heli. Why do so many people invest so much in servos and gyro and tail servo on such a small heli like this...401/92 whatevers and $59 a peice servos...i wonder people invest so much in this tiny heli. How much better is it gonna Fly,,,i mean for crying out load,,,the Blade 400 came with this same setup i had and it was capable of doin 3d right out the box and it didnt have a 401 or 9257 tail and hs-65's..So i wonder now...I guess i know once i get it running,,,,but your comment is encouraging cause 30 or 40 flights is a lot,,so i can get a lot of use out of these $13 servos just doing basic Sport Flywithout having to throw a lot of money in expensive servos...

to a beginner these upgrades are not necessary. but the higher quality servos and gyros will prove itself once you get the hang of it. its all about precision. you're probably not doing anything fancy yet but when you learn beyond hovering install the higher quality electronics and you'll see why people pay top dollar for them. with higher headspeed you'll need the expensive stuff to handle the higher torque that comes with it but if you're happy with just putting around you'll be fine with what you got.

this is only my opinion, spend the money and get good servos,i started with the s75 now i run the jrds285mg, totally different helisur you can buy 3 s75's for the price of 1 jr servo, but when you crash no problem with the metal gear servos, you only get what you pay for
