Scorpion Motor
ok,
so I just purcahsed the Scorpion HK-2221-6 V2 Brushless Motor (4400Kv) and was wondering what ESC I need for it.
I am currently running the Align XL motor with the 35amp ESC. Will that ESC work? If so, would it be better than the Align XL?
This is for my Trex 450 V2.

that motor draws 52a max. you'll need a 55a esc. some people have been running the scorpion 6 with the align 35a esc with good results. i wouldnt take that chance however as the esc is way underpowered for that motor. i have the scorpion 6 and run that with scorpion 55a esc , hobbywing ubec. also make sure you fly with lipos with a 25c or above rated. anything below that will get hot.
