Trex 450 Blades
What is everyone's LOW-COST carbon fiber blade preferences for the Trex 450 V2?
Thanks in advance.
I was looking at these...[link]https://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=8395&Product_Name=325mm_Carbon_Fiber_Main_Blade_Yellow_ (1pair)[/link]

RE: Trex 450 Blades
Don't waste your money (like I did), I have two sets. After reading this thread I think I'm going to make a windmill .

P.S
I did try them on my Mini Titan and I couldn't get them to track so I took them off and never tried them again.

RE: Trex 450 Blades
Has anyone tried the fibre glass blades?
Im thinking of getting a few sets to try nose in, if they last a flight then its worth it.
Better than destroying a CF set.

RE: Trex 450 Blades
There are places I may go cheap... Heck I've bought loads of the Rhino batteries from Hobby City...
but something that can KILL is NOT where I will go cheap...
use a QUALITY blade in a heli. Seriously, should a blade fail, it CAN kill.
Cheap blades are many times manufacturer rejects....
I like the Align pro-woodies...
and about the cheapest CF I will use is the Mavvrik(sp?)
Radix are very nice, as our Youngbloods
Use a cheap battery... use cheap servos (I don't but you can...)
but don't use cheap blades.....

RE: Trex 450 Blades
While your still learning basic orientations the Align 325 woodies are hard to beat. They're rated at 2800 rpm but alot of people run them faster. I keep mine under 3000 rpm. If you crash often but you can afford the CF blades then use them, but the woodies won't hold you back. I'm using them and I'm doing inverted hover and learning backwards flight. I still crash often enough that I would rather spend $13 on a set of blades compared to $40 for CF. Once I get all my basic upright and inverted orientations and flight down pat then I'll go to full-time CF blades. Alan

another good brand is MSComposit. they are a bit pricey but, if you like custom looks, they are nice. i had a set with an American flag on them.
typicly though, i use Align 325 carbons. cheaper than most and havent had a problem getting them to track and balance.
good luck, wraith

The new Thunder Power carbon fiber blades are really good ones. I would say they are even with the Radix blades and a few dollars less in price.

If the blades are cheap, you're buying glorified paint stirrers.

You either have a Fixed Pitch Heli, a coaxial heli or a collective pitch heli. The ccpm simply means collective/cyclic pitch mixing.....
