2nd pack attempting side in hover. Camera needs work again. This time I have the settings on cloudy day. I should have set to auto so the video is pretty dark. When Im up in the skline its fine but in the second half its pretty dark at low elevation hover.I also noticed I was on 1.5x zoom which reduced my light and picture size. Hatcam comes down a little bit and I struggle to keep m head up the rest of the time to keep the bird in view. I recommend the first link which brings you to the youtube site instead of the inserted video. On the youtube site you can pick full screen which makes it a little easier to see. Anyway I am happy with my results so far. I think I may need to concentrate more on the flying and put the camera on a tripod!! LOL
this wil bring you to the youtube site. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZYp9HRpVfho

I can definitely relate to the excitement of getting airborne. People can get a little *****ly if you flood the forum with threads, as it's considered to be rude.
Once you are moving to side in, you are getting close to the "click" where you can start really flying around. Good luck, you are getting there.
