I have a problem with my trex 450 dampers sliding past the collar. I replaced the black dampers that came with the kit and i'm using the red dampers (youngblood)and still having issues. The feathering shaft is not bent (just replaced x 2) When one looks at the main rotor head one can see the dampers and it creates a lots of slop? The baled grips move about 4mm (slop). How can I prevent This ?

Seems like alot of slop. Are you sure you have the correct dampers/feathering shaft? I know they both come in V1 and V2 so that might be a possible reason. If you are running a v1 feathering shaft with a v2 damper your probably going to encounter that problem. The collar I use is the copter X one which has a flange on the side of the spacer so that you cant see the dampers. Might be worth a try if you have the correct setup.

I "think" V2 feathering shaft is thicker... I can't remember where I heard or saw it but
you might find it here in Finless Bob's videos that he put out about the V2 upgrade

I just found this info...

"V1/V2
V1 helis have a 3 mm feathering shaft, no thrust bearing in the blade grips, and bushes on the mixer arms. V2 helis have 4mm feathering shaft, thrust bearings and bearings on the mixer arms. All AE/SE Copterx have v2 tails."

I use the V1 (TB) dampeners in the V-2 head. Works really well, but it's a b**** to get em in there. Regardless of how nice I am, the kinda 'squish' out a bit, but they're hella stiff, so no complaints.
The V1 uses the 3mm shaft, so if you got the V2's by mistake then you're kinda screwed. Sorry to blunt, but it's the truth! lol
