RE: EXI 450 build, component selection help
pretty close to my setup,
I'd go with 25C to be safe but if your motor overheats, get a heat sink.
I'm sitll wondering...
why are align motors called outrunners?
They really are inrunners

will I be able to get away with using this battery? Its longer than normal, but they are all out of the regular sized ones. Any idea where else I could get a good deal on a battery if this one wont work?

Rhino's actually are zippy's....read the fine print, you will see the zippy name on it. At least mine has it.

RE: EXI 450 build, component selection help
hello every one !
i'm thinking about to get a radio system for my EXI-450 . There is too many choices out there...
First, i was thinking about to go with the DX6i, but i just find out in the hobby people discount store the 8 chanels Airtronics RDS8000 w/two reciever 92824, they asked for $229.99.
does anyone have any idea about this product ?... should i go for it? ...
Thanks.

RE: EXI 450 build, component selection help
well here are the two common ones at least from my view
Spektrum DX 6i and 7
Futaba 6EX and 7
they are all good
and Specktrum has a lot of support from here and thre because they are more
affordable.
Futaba 6EX transmitter is at an okay price, the receiver..
that tiny little thing is about $100 each
