pretty close to my setup,
I'd go with 25C to be safe but if your motor overheats, get a heat sink.
I'm sitll wondering...
why are align motors called outrunners?
They really are inrunners

will I be able to get away with using this battery? Its longer than normal, but they are all out of the regular sized ones. Any idea where else I could get a good deal on a battery if this one wont work?

It is an outrunner, they just put a shell around the outer case.

Hey you guys, please give me a try on motors and esc's for these 450 heli's. I have a very nice fan cooled motor and some awesome esc's available with or without the program card.
Edit: The motor is a 3800kv, the esc is a 35 amp.

Rhino's actually are zippy's....read the fine print, you will see the zippy name on it. At least mine has it.

well here are the two common ones at least from my view
Spektrum DX 6i and 7
Futaba 6EX and 7

they are all good
and Specktrum has a lot of support from here and thre because they are more
affordable.
Futaba 6EX transmitter is at an okay price, the receiver..
that tiny little thing is about $100 each

I got my futaba 6ex for 90 shipped
and receiver for 100 shipped.

If I had a choice I'd go with DX6i
because the receivers are cheaper.
