I figured I'd start a thread where all TRex 600 pilots can show off their pride and joy. Should be a good place to display their pics and maybe trade ideas for upgrades, modifications and other things. Enjoy.

While I really like my 600, the "pride and joy" title is currently reserved for my 700 nitro. Here are a couple of pics of my helis.
Here is a pic of my fleet from about 5 months ago. Unfortunately, the Protos is now deceased and only the 700, 600, and 450 are still around. However, I am currently shopping for a 600 nitro.

Here is an individual pic of just my 600 electric powered by a Scorpion HK4025 890kv motor, Castle HV85 esc, and 8S Outrage lipos.

Here is one with the canopy removed.

Well guys, my 600 pictured above met an untimely death two weeks ago.[
] It survived my poor flying skills for right at one year.
It went down so hard that the only things that survived were the electronics (luckily) and a few of the metal head parts. It ended up being cheaper to just buy and build an entire new kit. So I ordered one of the new "improved" 600ESP kits along with some replacement servo gears and a couple of servo cases. It arrived last Wednesday and I was able to get it built and fly it for the first time on Saturday. I am still running the same 8S setup with the Scorpion HK-4025 890kv and CC HV85. It flew great, and hopefully it will live for quite a while.
I also just added the 600N. I picked it up used and it is fully loaded with an OS 50 Hyper, 8717s, Solid G, ect. While the N is by no means underpowered, the ESP on 8S definitely has quite a bit more power. With the N I have to watch my collective and cyclic to make sure I don't give to much of both at the same time. With the 8S ESP, collective management is purely optional!
Here is a pic of it with my other helis (T-Rex 700N, T-Rex 600N, T-Rex 600ESP, and T-Rex 450 SE V2).

Haven't posted in a while but recently bought a trex 600n and 450 w/ HDX frame from a friend of mine. Not terribly pretty but I'm still getting the hang of flying these things. Did my first successful loop last Wednesday

I just realized this is the electric helis section oops, oh well

Thanks Andy. Its my first scale heli. I'll probably put a 5 blade head on it at some point, a seachlight, and cockpit to hide the mechanics, etc. I just put a strobe and nav lights on it, and it looks when awesome flown at dusk.

Here is mine.
nice 600 with the A123's
Im on the fence in the future about A123's or a nitro 600. I'm running A123's in my rc cars and lipo in my trex450. Just wondering what your flight times were and charge times. And are the A123's powerful enough for 3D flying? or more scale flying

With the Scorpion HK-4025-740 and a 2100HS I get 4min of 3D flight. I can charge the 12S battery in about 25min, since my charger is limited to 6S. If I got another charger I could charge it in about 11min. Yeah A123's can do 3D flight with a little collective management and once they are warm enough. Here is a video I did awhile ago and I used 10S and a Tonic-X motor. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hIjnuUCAsjs I can do a lot more with it now, but I just haven't had anyone film me.

Well, I started this thread so I might as well show of some pictures. Here's my 600 ESP with flame canopy and it's big brother, Cal Fire Copter 406 out of Bear Valley.

Hi guys, I have a mate with a Trex 600 runing 12c and every time he kicks it in the ass there is a strange noise and the tail plays up. any ideas what this could be. He thought originally that it was the one way bearing, then the gear for the belt drive rudder. None of those are faultly but still the problem and this is too pricey to except faulty performance.
