DA-100 w/ just over 4 gallons thru it. Using a Menzs 27X10 from the start. Using Lawn boy ashless @ 32:1. 6400-6500 RPM. 1100-1200 idle. Standard mufflers. Simply awesome.

It pulls like a tractor, and very managable and smooth, worth the $$ to me. Dont think I will buy another menz, mejzlik, etc for 3D. If you fly just 3D, its the prop for you, but if you fly other too maybe a menz or mejzlik is a better choice. I was just happy that my DA would out turn a 106 with the same prop

Anybody has any info on how many rpm the DA 100 swings the Fuchs 28x10 ? That is the combo I want to use on my new Yak.
I know (from my Carden) that the DA 100 (new out of box) swings the Biela 27x10 about at 6250 rpm at sea level. Not too shabby

Not sure about the 28x10, but my DA in my comp arf extra swings the fuchs 27x10 at 6400, its a decent load for the 100, I would suspect about 6100 or so with the 28x10

Just curious what everyone else is getting. My DA 100, about 6 gallons through it, amsoil 100:1, mejzlik 27x10, 6500rpm.

I am using the standard mufflers. If you plan on flying the yak for 3D I would go with the 27x10 and the extra rpms, since the yak will probably be 26lbs+, but if you just plan on sequence flying, the 28x10 is a good choice too. I like the fuchs prop ok. Its a good IMAC prop, but not so well for 3D. Would I buy another one? No. For 3D I really like the prince prop, and a menz, and IMAC I like the mejzliks. My katana does really well with a mejzlik 28x10 for IMAC.
