I don't know if the extra 800 RPM is worth all the work. I mod:
1. carby
2. Reed valve
3. Intake
4. Piston Ring
5. Head
Lots of work... I like the idea of just cutting down the flywheel and calling it a day.
Still, I have my 35CC Bully which smokes the Ryobi and weighs in under 3 lbs. The Ryobi is great for floaters.

Master Airscrew 18 X 6 at 7900rpm is right on for the stock magneto equipped Ryobi though I don't know of any 35cc Ryobi, I think we're talking 31cc. Anyway, to the gentleman below that's only turning a Master Airscrew 16 X 8 at 7000, something is wrong. You should be turning the Master Airscrew 18 X 8 at 7000-7200.
