Default Mvvs 1.60

i am looking for an engine to power a Hanger 9 Clipped Wing Taylorcraft I am building and I was looking at an RCS 1.40 but they are out of stock and do not expect any more available until mid-December. I have also heard good things about the MVVS 1.60 but cannot find any place to purchase one.

Does anyone know about the availability of this engine and where one can be purchased? Any comments about its suitability for my plane would also be appreciated.

Default Where to buy MVVS

You can order an MVVS 1.60 from Just Engines in Great Britain. I recently ordered an engine from them and had it in my hand eight days after entering the order! I believe you'll find that Just Engines offers a better price than Morris too.

Default mvvs 1.6

I ordered my mvvs 1.6 from Pe Reivers
He is a distributor in the Netherlands the site is
www.mvvs-nl.com

When you buy one from him he test runs it before he ships it and he furnishes a custom made power harness with power LED and charge cable..adding a ground to the ignition for extra security

He had a good price on them........go to the web site and look at all his information on the engines..roughlander

I just got home and found my newly ordered MVVS 1.60 on my doorstep. I ordered from Topmodels in France ... better price than Just Engines and I too had it in eight days. Check them out at www.topmodel.fr

MVVS 1.6 gas ( new version with Vlach ignition and walbro carb with choke ) .
Got a chance to see a friend tach the engine ...
Apc prop 18*10 @ 7400 rpm with stock muffler.
After changing to the Bisson muffler pitts style the rpm shot up to 8050.

The engine is well run in and has a lot of fuel through it already.
