New Irvine 53 from OS
Hi ive just run up my os/irvine 53 wth a 12x6 apc prop on 10pc nitro. i`m getting 10600rpm. its very quit and runs smooth
i also have a brand new real irvine 53 ( made in england) that i will compare figures with...

Ive now just stuck a gruapner 11x6 on and getting 12300rpm...still very smooth and quite compaired to my os50sx..

The finish is very good...The bearing sizes are now the same as the os50sx. the exhaust is a few millimeters smaller than the original ervine. Visualy its nearly the same apart from the carb. The colour is of a lighter red. It does seem a very nice engine but it needs some hours on it to compaire it to the originaal irvines as the original ervines had a proven track record.
