25FX
Can someone give me a few real tach numbers to look at?
25FX with what fuel and prop please???
I ran one today with a 9x6 wood prop and got 12,600 rpm, with a pinch test peaking at 13K. Is this engine producing the correct power, or not?
My intent is to use this engine on a 3D profile plane, likely with a 10x4 APC prop.

RE: 25FX
10x4 mas 13,500
9x4 mas 14,400
8x6 3-Blade mas 13,800
These numbers are using Powermaster 15%
I have tried the apc 10x4 on this engine and it was not happy. It does like the mas 10x4 though. Must be a lower load on the engine.

RE: 25FX
OK, I'm feeling better. I ran an APC 10x3 and some good fuel.
I can get 14,700 rpm, if I want to. I'll likely try to fly it a hint softer than that, however...
The 9x6 TF prop must load quite a bit heavier than the APC 10x3.
