Default Mvvs .77 Idling

Very good performance but it is very hard to tune low end.

While idling, when I close the carb hole with my finger, engine continues to run, carb has an air leak.

Is anyone experienced this problem ?

Thanks.

there is a O ring at the (bottom) neck of the carb

check if it seals properly - loosen the retaining screw nut (carb), PUSH DOWN while tightening again

this could solve your problem

Default worn carb

obolel,

Yes I have had this problem - also on a 77. The carb had a leak between the body and barrel. Had to replace carb with a new one from Morris Hobbies.
