Just installed 17mm hex hubs on my second MGT 4.60SE and now need wheels and tires. Looking at Proline Mounted Road rages for street and Badlands mounted for the rough stuff. Which size is best? 3.8” seems to be the answer but I wanted to get the straight scoop from the experts here. I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe!

i think 2.8s are going to be a bit small personally.
5" for the 2.8s or 5.85" for the 3.8s.
stock wheel size was around 6"

Cool thanks. I was looking at a few YouTube vids of guys using Proline Roadrage tires and their MGTs and lowering the suspension a bit to get some nice speeds on pavement. I wanted to do this to my second MGT 4.6. One guy (Savage Addict) I think was using 2.8”s but they looked a bit small. I’m still waiting for parts on both my MGTs but they are starting to take shape. I’ll get some pics on here soon.

I’ve been cleared to get back to work (luck me was out for six weeks for back surgery during this COVID19 thing) so my time is limited on wrenching now. As an essential employee (Sheriff Deputy) I’m back out there but I’d rather be home, lol.
