u just get any plastic 14mm hex, i think the tmaxx comes with plastic hexes, u could use them, so ya any 14mm hex designed for a 6mm axle will work. Im using the alloy ones, which are working fine at the moment, if they start to enlarge the hex then il go to plastic

i see ya live in australia to. A great place for stock parts for people in aus is rcmart.com. Its a store in hong kong and there prices are very cheap and if u get EMS shipping its here within 3 to 4 days. I bought my new MTA4 which is a MGT from there and it was at my house in 3 days. Also amainhobbies i just bought alot of upgrades from and shipping with the EMS shipping was 3 days and there prices were good also. My MSN is scottywilkes(@)Hotmail.com, minus the (). Talk about the MGT and stuff

o no your not getting the TTR 50 are ya? Any good 28 size motor will smash the hell out of that, its a helicopter motor with a larger engine head on it, there not designed for land use, they just dont have the power curve to work properly. If i was you, i would get something like a STS28 for 105 US from rcmart which is a steal and will beat the hell out of the TTR50. It has enough torque to rip the wheels up anytime, and it has a good top end. Or if u want a really good engine, the LRP 28 spec3 is one of the best motors around, at 170 US it isnt a bad price to pay for such a good motor

The spec 3 is downright awesome,I'm running one and keeping it a little on the rich side and still this thing rips the tires off.U stays tuned real nice too no need to fiddle with the needles a lot.

I don't know,I was told to get the roto start and back plate, but to tell you the truth I have not even installed that. This thing starts on 2 or 3 pulls after prime so I have been using the pull start works great.

I believe the HPI ribbed pipe is what snook says performs best with his Spec 3, it is loud though..

hey guys i got a quick question how do crime fighters last in durablity wise? do they last like bow ties were there widdle away after being on the street. or do that last long on all kinds of terrain. Cause i want to find a tire that are different but i also want one that is going to last. One moere Question does anyone run Wabash wheels cause i really like the look of wabash but i here they rub and you loose turning capabilities. Should i just try to make the wabaash fit or stick with velocitys and big joes.

You need to get the wabash with the offset I think. I've been looking for a set for a while. I haven't found any yet but I'm sure proline must do them.

Well my super mgt is coming on nicely now. Shocks have been done, RPM arms and knuckles all round (lowered it quite a lot that I was surprised) The engine (mach 427) and pipe has arrived and is ready to put in. 23mm hexes with a set of proline offset maxx wheels and dirtbonz tyres. Just need a body now and I'll post some pics for you guys.
I think it will look quite small next to stock when its done, not sure about that now [&:] lol
I bet first time I let rip after break in and it breaks something in the tranny

hehe nice dude.

Ferrari, crimefighters are great all round tyres, but like all pin tyres, dont take them offroad, they will be dead pretty dam quick. All pin tyres are made specifically for softer ground, so they can dig in, with the road they cant and they just wear down after some hard use

Hey guys! Snow has finally let up around here and I finished the break in on my MGT, yay! Unfortunatly my friend was watching me start it today and he made fun cause I was using rotostart and not "pullin over that big motor like a man" so I tried that but my pullstart cord broke off...[&:] Has this happened to any of you? It was the first time I pulled over the engine with the cord and it broke in 5 pulls...notta good start for my new MGT hopefully its just an isolated problem.
