I learn BY ASKING A LOT of questions ! ok. THEN I go try myself. After a life time of making foolish mistakes BECUASE I ASSUMED I KNEW, I've decided it is better to ask questions. IF you take the time to read my question previously I wasnt asking HOW , I was asking WHAT ! oh and BTW I have taken the truck apart. COMPLETLEY. It has been completley cleaned and lubed and worn parts replaced. I AM NOT LAZY ! I am CAUTIOUS. My money is precious to me. I'd rather not waste it becuase I failed to put a part back to gether correctly. Is that enough or do you think I still dont meet your standards !

Well, I stripped out my first spur gear today. Oh well. It only took about a year and a CEN .46 for it to go out on me and I already have the RRP on order. I guess I'll tear the truck down and clean it real good while I'm waiting. It needs a good going over anyway. Are the RRP's as good as everyone say they are. I'm sure with them being metal that they are much more durable.

Way to help the kid out.Give him a break he just go the truck. By lower he means the bottom of the shock move it out to the hole closest to the tire This will also help with the cg and make drive better.
thank you !..you know what, I was misreading that. I thought on each side...for instance the back right, I was to move on shock in one shock out LOL. Made me scratch my head there for a second. Of course the lower one is THE ONLY one to move..as there is only ONE mount point for the upper part of the shock.

One more thing...and I am asking this because I took the time to take my tranny apart ; I know there is the older GT and the newer GT 4.6 SE...I was reading somewhere that the new ones have ALL metal gears in tranny...when I took mine apart, I noticed that a couple of the gears were the black plastic kind and the rest were steel. IS this the old trans. I think one of the plastic ones is the one that is NEAR the shift point adjustment screw. I guess I'm kinda wondering if the guy I bought it from just popped the newer engine on it and later sold it to me as the 4.6 SE.

No, he didnt rip you off.
The MGT 4.6se has MOSTLY steel gears, not all.
i believe it is the two speeds that are plastic, but i could be wrong.

The 2 speed gear is plastic thats why alot of people take the reverse out it helps take some of the stress off the gears. You didn't get ripped off.

Depends on what you get. $20-$40 bucks for 3-5 day shipping.

You normally save like $150 though, so it's all gooooood.
i'll buy from tower if it cost that much for shipping. thats outragous.

RCmart rocks, u gotto remember dude its from Hong Kong, its not from your state. The reason the parts are so cheap is all the parts are produced in asia, they dont pay shipping to the US having middle men etc. U save over 1/2 price on most parts, t heres not such a wide variety, but from me ordering there, i save ALOT MORE from tower,

O and evader---->MGT it was my secret that i passed onto you and ferrari

And Snaut rocket, the one way hub is the one way bearing, they are 1 in the same.

That was inside the shaft, in the 2spd gear right? - that'll happen every once in a while, no big deal..

to me they look like the roller bearings that are inside the One way hub, when mine carked it i took it apart and found the plastic casing around the roller bearings had broken and the some of the roller bearings had fallen out. In other words u need a new one way hub, make it 2 to be safe

Tough to tell from the pic though, I just assumed (since it was in 3 pieces) that it was the shaft pin.. could be what you suggested though...
