RE: Monster GT anyone have one?
I almost bought the terror, but couldn't pass up on the one from ebay. Looks A LOT better, better engine (any input on those ofna 2.6?? they're faily priced) I have to talk to my brasilian friend and ask about fuel mix down there because if I break this engine with a certain fuel here then I'll have to break it in again there .... either way I MIGHT just buy another engine and take it with me in case something happens with this one. What would be a good upgrade to the ofna 2.6?

You guys got any suggestions on keeping these cvd's together other than a complete replacement or loctite? Mine have been really good for a long time, but lately it seems that no matter what I do to them I end up running 2wd by the end of the day! First my front left cvd pin flew out (easy fix but it ended the 4wd that day!) and the next time I took it out (after a complete check and rebuilt/loctite session with all the axels/cvd's/CVA's my front cva flew out in less than 5 minutes (lost in a field too 10 bucks...)
Before I go an lose another, is there a threadlocking product that you guys have had a lot of luck with that I should try?
Besides this, my MGT is an absolute trooper and puts up with a lot of bashing!

You'll like it, these are great trucks and very user friendly... check out www.monstergt.com for a load of tips & tricks
I'd recommend selling the Integy shocks and getting stock shocks w/FT aluminum caps (you would probably make a few extra bucks too), you'd be much happier in the long run.

also, you can wrap electrical tape around the cup, then super glue the end so it'll stay... or shrink tubing would also work.

Are you sure you're putting the set screw on the part of the pin that is flat. That makes a huge difference. Even if it's a little off, the pin will fly right out.

^^ that too
You should aways use locktite, though, there's really no way around it with these trucks..(MGT drive train parts in particular)

RE: Monster GT anyone have one?
One more thing for you guys, last night I was tearing down the MGT and doing some clean up and I noticed that I have a destroyed wheel bearing. I went online to towerhobbies to replace it, but all they have is the complete bearing set! Does anyone know what the measurements are for those bearings and where to get good replacements? (I am 99% sure it is called the wheel bearing, they are the bearings that are right near the tires, two at each wheel.)

Well I talked to a few different vendors and they said the integy shocks are good specially for the track, but since I don't plan on going to the tracks then that's why you guys are saying they suck for bashing? ... If I don't get the stock ones with the truck, how much are the stock ones?

If they held up then they'd be good.. the shock shafts bend really easy, and they're prone to leakage, they're just not a high quality product. You're paying for the name.
Dealers will tell you whatever you want to hear if it'll make them an extra buck. (and selling Integy products is almost a guarantee that the customer will be back soon for replacement parts)
Check out ebay for the stock shocks and FT caps, you should be able to get both for around $60 or so. Proline Powerstrokes are the best racing/shock option for the MGT, but they are hard to find and really spendy, even used..

RE: Monster GT anyone have one?
I found a deal? around $15 on a GPM 13cfm billet machined aluminum heat sink cooling head. Is it worth doing it? I am mainly looking at this because I don't like the purple one that Ofna uses ...
