Default RE: Monster GT anyone have one?

When I was looking at getting into rc cars/trucks the Jato was one I had picked out bettween the Traxxas truck and the Monster GT. Well I went with MGT but I gota say I love the thought of Jato going 60mph plus, and still being able to run on grass and dirt. The only reason I didn't get one was being a noob I figured it was too much for me.
Thats a sweet looking machine scottywilkes, post some vids when you get it running
Merry Christmas everyone

Well for Christmas I finially got a MGT 4.60 SE and I have to say it is by far the best truck I have ever saw, it is incrediable. I owned a nitro Rustler for 3 years before this truck and I thought that was a good truck until I got this one. It is very tough and is very powerful!

Does anyone have a Pro-Line '08 Ford F-250 Crew Cab on there MGT yet? I'm Looking to buy a new body and i really like the Chevy Suburban but the trouble is im not sure if it fits. I've compared it to my current Escalde body to it, but the Chevy is 40mm shorter than the Escalde , keeping in mind that the Escalde body has alot of room on the MGT. but the chevy but is only 20mm shorter than the Ford. So what im basically asking is, how well does your body fit on your truck? Is there alot of extra room between the shock towers? just so that i can get a good idea on how well this body fits.

Thanks

Grats on your new MGT Blitzz! The only gripes I have with the MGT is
1. With the obvious problem with the 14mm hubs why put them on such a great truck?
2. Were they hitting the crack pipe when the put the reverse button where they did?
Happy New Year!!

True dat! I used the fake piggy back shock ends to make a "guard ring" around the reverse button, cuz my big old thumbs kept accidentally hitting the reverse. So with the guard ring you actually had to intentionally stick your finger in there to actuate the reverse. Sweet.......

Isn't there a saftey mechanism in the transmission that prevents reverse from engaging while the truck is moving?

That true it won't go in reverse if it's moving. If you lay the tx down to make a adjustment or something it's very easy to hit the reverse button, not to mention if you let anyone else drive your truck, they will hit the throttle and zip it take's off backwards every time because they have there thumb right on the reverse button.

Hey i got a question. How did you guys get the hump packs to fit in the monster gt's radio box.
And did you need to buy a new switch to make it work.
Any info will help.

Mine fits but my failsafe won't fit with it. I have the failsafe inside and my battery on the chassis. Not the preferred method but it works.
