Ive got half a tank of gas through the truck and it hasnt ran for more than like 10 seconds, once i take the glow plug ignighter off it dies. Brand new batteries all around and everything. tried idle needle, low end needle, factory settings... i need help

Changed the glow plug to hot, duratrax how long reach, did a little better, changed fuel from odonnels to traxxas, runs now, can putt around no problem, but when i stop to idle it will start reving up quite high, diesel a little like when your out of gas, and then dies, but if i hit the throttle it wont stall will keep driving like normal. Ive tried the idle needle but i turn it down when its high reved it goes from high rev to dead. Any pointers would be helpful!
