RE: JR radio
Come to Albuquerque in the summer when the temps are in the 90s - density altitude pushes 9,000 ft Flying anywhere else feels like flying in a fluid compared to flying here when it gets that warm.

RE: JR radio
LenAlessi,
That sounds interesting. I think I prefer to fly at 1222 feet, but if I'm ever out that way I'll stop by. Where is your field located? If you want to fly at 1222 feet come to Virginia to the 21'st annual Ray Gordon Memorial Jumbo Fly-in.

RE: JR radio
JR needs a "competitor upgrade" program like software etc...
Turn in a Futaba transmitter and receivers and get a discount or for X number of receivers get 1 free or something. In all honesty I fly Futaba because it's what I started flying and well you know how it goes - once your in your hooked for a while. I've flown borrowed 9Z's and 10X's both and I really like the JR - except for the throttle trim but I guess I could overcome it eventually.
Just to change over would cost me 7-8 receivers for 25% and up planes (IE 7-9 channel receivers not cheaper 4 channel ones) in addition to the price of the transmitter - which to me wouldn't be much because I'll need a new one some day anyway - but the price of the receivers (especially if I went PCM on several of them) to make the switch would cost more than the top of the line JR 10X at the moment...
Just something to think about.

RE: JR radio
Guys!
I found in Deremate (Mexico's e-bay) a bargain for a R700 receiver, unfortunately the offer ended in 1 hr so I bought it, do you think I'd have any problem with my XF 622?
Regards
(This weekend I'm looking forward to take the picks of the field you requested)
