Carden Cap
Mike I was just wondering if you ever flew a Cardens 30% Cap. I am looking at this because I have Fuji 64 and the 33% H9 edge is about 10 inches to long for Focus Shwagon. My 64 swings a 23/8 at 7000 (30 ponds of thrust I think) so If I built it at 18 pounds I shouldnt have a power problem. Do you think this plane still weighs in with whats out on the market these days? My flight intentions are like everyone elses, good IMAC and High Alpha.

Wow I just found a thrust claculator on line, I hope its right. It says I am getting 40 pounds of static thrust. Here is the link, it also has a wing loading calc.

RE: Carden Cap
The only one I ever flew was one flight on Dennis' protortye. It was a long time ago and to be honest I dont remember much.
On the thrust calculator, I think I'd take that with a grain of salt. I measured the static thrust of my H9 Edge with a DA-100 (Mej 25 x 12 3-blade) and got 36 lbs.

BD, Dick Pettit did a review of the H9 edge and G62 in the new RC Report. It was a good review and he liked the power. The edge sure is a nice plane and for the money too!
