hagner 9 cap 232 info help me

I just picked up a hanger 9 cap 232. It is a 73 wing. I will be putting a gas on it, but do not know what one to put on it yet.. but what I need it the info on this plane. The one I got it from did not have a book on it and I cant seem to fine any thing on the net about this plane.. I need to know what cc eng it can take were is the best place to put the cg and the travel of the controls. If any one has info on the hanger 9 cap 232 73!QUOT! let me know.. Thanks

That model is really too small for a gas engine. You could but the weright will be too high. As for CG and control throws, its all in the instruction manual.

looks like we have the same problem. I have the book for that plane and It really is not big enough for a gas engine. I have a Magnum 1.80 on the one I am building right now. so I can give you the measurements for that plane.
aileron low rate 1/2" up 7/16" down
aileron high rate 3/4" up 5/8" down
3-d rate 3/4" up 5/8" down
elevator low rate 1 1/8" up 1 1/8" down high rate 1 3/4" up 1 3/4" down 3-d rate 4" up 4" down
rudder low rate 3" high rate 4 1/2" 3-d rate 4 1/2"
the book that I have says the CG is 5 5/8" from the leading edge at the side of the fuse. I am waiting to here if there are any tech up dates for this measurement.

I got mine all done and I have a 40cc gasser in it.. I love the plane flys grate.. I had no prob puting in a gasser.. I did not think that it would work at 1st but as I started working on it I new that it was going to work and do just fine.
