Default Positive snap from inverted?

Mike,
I'm flying Advanced IMAC, this years sequence has a 45 degree upline inverted, with a positive snap. I'm flying your Hangar 9 35% Extra 260. Right now during practice I can't seen to complete the snap without being 30-40 degrees off pitch, I seem to finish the snap and end up level inverted.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Very fast fingers. Pitch first then very quickly unload all of the up elevator as you get aileron and rudder in. You should come out pretty much on heading if you unload the elevator fast enough. If the snaps are still too deep with the elevator unloaded, then reduce rudder a little.

Thanks Mike,
Would you also start to add down elevator before the snap is finished?

Probably not. When you cross elevator during a snap, it becomes an accelerated snap so it'll make hitting the exit w/o over-rotating pretty hard. You probably wont need to pitch back to heading because the rudder will pitch the nose up in the first quarter of the rotation. If you do need to pitch the nose back up a little on the exit, get on the down just as you get off of aileron and rudder so its a fluid movement.
