Default Raptor 50 whip antenna mount...

Just picked up a whip antenna for the R50 and am wondering where you guys are mounting them? Logical would be just above pitch servo at the front of the tray but the instructions say to keep it 1" away from the electronics especially servo's. Just trying to see if anyone came up with anything creative?

You Can Mount The Whip Antenna On The Bottom Of The Skids Facing Backwards(toward the boom), This Works Well, You Can Use Double Sided Servo Tape/ Gyro Mounting Tape To Secure It, Another Good Place Is On The Side Of The Main Frames (Right Side I Have Always Used) and use the double sided tape here as well... If you need pictures Let me know, Justin [email protected]

Great success with the underside of the radio frame sticking forward into the canopy.

Ditto! I drilled a hole in a side frame and ran it into the bottom of the canopy.
