Default jr 8103 heli radio ?

i keep finding jr 8103 radios that are for airplanes which one is for helis dose it have to be for helis only i dont want to buy the wrong one

Either one will work fine. If your buying new, I would have a look at the new JR 9303, it's taking over for the old 8103.

If you like the JR, use the advice above and get the latest one, then you won't want to sell it next week to get the newer one. If you are not dead set on JR, look at the futaba 9C. I find it a lot easier to program and a lot more friendly personally, but thats just me. Both are good radios. Get the latest one if you are getting a new one though.

The 8103 has programming for planes and helis in every version. I have the 8103 heli, mostly the difference is the decals on the transmitter.

I would have gotten the 9303 if I had known it was coming out 3 weeks after I bought an 8103. The 8103 is a nice radio though.
