Default Raptor Ver1 - Ver2 Parts interchange

Can anyone tell me if the Canopies are interchangeable between the Raptor V1 & V2. Does that mean if a Raptor 30 has a Ver 1 canopy on it that it is a Ver1. I was told that this bird is a Ver 2 but I noticed it has a Ver2 canopy.

Thanks -- you pointed me to exactly the info I was searching for--- Now, if you could give me you personal thoughts on this question
Could a Version 1 Raptor 30, upgraded to Version 2, legaly or moraly be advertized and sold as a Versio 2 Raptor 30.
This may have happened to me and while I still think its a great bird, and I think I might even like the looks of the Ver.1 canopy better, I am currious... Thaks again,, Lynn

If you're purchasing a used Raptor 30 that's 100% identical to a current 30V2 (i.e. it's impossible to tell if it was "converted" or not by examining the parts), then I guess I don't see much of a problem. If it still has some older V1 parts, or is otherwise different from the current V2 kit, then that should be disclosed by the seller, IMO...

If I was selling an upgraded kit I would state it as such. I buy and sell quite a bit and in this community reputation is everything. If it was someone that got tired of the hobby and sold out, then it wouldn't surprise me if he held back something that he thought might cast a negative on his sale.
