Default GY611 setup ?

Has anyone setup a GY611 with futaba 7C ? As I understood it gain should be set to A90% N90% on transmitter and then actual values set on the gyro ? any idea on the values ? Or is the 7C actually capable of remotely changing the gain values ? The more I read the manual the more confused I get They should write a GY611 for dummies , would be perfect for me today Any and all help would be much appreciated.

You want the display to say no higher than 37 percent gain, down around 33 to 35 is better.

So use the gyro screen in GY mode, set the gain to 35 n and 35A and confirm thats what you are seeing on the gyro amp.

You set the end points on the gyro so that you dont get binding either way.

Thanks BH, I kinda thought 7C should be able to directly control the gyro but something in the manual that said you should set the tx to 90% and set the actual values on gyro... got me all confused :P Is it true that if you set the values too high you might burn out the servo or something ?

Yep, and it wont hunt it will just eat the servo. Keep it under 37, mine holds at 35 on my Avant 90
