Enter a loop. At the top of a loop relax the back cyclic and it should hang inverted, when you start to get nervous just pull through the loop. Each time you will be able to hold it a little longer and finally you will be hovering inverted. Don't get hung up on tail in or nose in to the point you can't do one or the other.

that or you can flip or roll into it from a hover, start with tail in, move to side in both directions and then nose in. Hardest thing for me is actually the elevator controls.

I can hover inverted on the sim with no problem, even right down at the runway, blades almost touching. Thats on the sim, in the real world I just can't bring myself to do one low enough to be able to see it well enough to hold a steady hover. I have been using my Trex 450 to practise as I don't want to plant my Titan, but the Titan would be much easier to see and more stable as well.

I just wish I had a pair.

As a flyer in the infancy of inverted hovering - the half roll to inverted is working best for me. I did the half loop for quite a while and got used to inverted forward flight, and I would bail out with a half roll. Immelman in the plank world. However to get to inverted hover I had try and stop the forward flight and then rotate the tail in.

I get to inverted hover with the heli in a stable hover at a height of 20-30 ft to my left. First give it up collective, then right roll. Stop at inverted and set her down on the disk. Bail out is both sticks back to climb and move away - then roll out to upright.

I have advanced to half loops, beginning with the heli flying toward me.

Whatever works for you, but don't rush it unless you have parts and a few open evenings.

Had to put those auto skills to the fore again today when the engine quit 50 meters up.

thats another lot of $$$ that the sim has saved.

Anyone here using Hanger 9's fs one and having problems with their lead to the pc. I have had to resolder lead at least once and it has just quit again.
Not sure if it is the box this time.
