fuel for tt 39
hI guys need info on fuel for my tt39,when I first got my raptor 30 which was second hand I ran omega 15% heli fuel with caster oil in it didnt notice any heating problems with it no rpm loss, when I changed to cool power 15% helifuel(green stuff) the engine started running hotter around 230 degrees and while hoovering you could here the engine rpm drop. Tried a tank of 30% cool power heli fuel it did run better n cooler around 190 degrees .What temp. range should I be in? ALSO WHAT FUEL? I would like to run same fuel in airplanes n helis.

I run the 15% (green) Cool Power in all of my 30 and 50 sized heli's and Airplanes. I was running 30% wildcat curtis youngblood in my heli's, for me it was not worth having 2 kinds of fuel and I did not see any real difference in performance. I flew 6 gallons of cool power and 6 of the Wildcat 30% heli so far since June.

RE: fuel for tt 39
Because I have some YS four stroke airplane engines, I chose to run YS 20-20 fuel in my TT39 and TT53 engines so I only need one type of fuel. I have gotten excellent results from both engines with YS 20-20, and will continue to use it.

20% nitro, 20% lubricant. I use Wildcat 20/20, it's made for four stroke engines. The lube is mostly synthetic, but I believe it's about 1% castor.
Higher nitro is especially helpful in cool weather and the extra lube is good for cooling. Oil doesn't just lubricate, it doesn't burn and absorbs heat from the engine while passing through.
I have found it to be a good compromise for 2 stroke heli engines and four stroke engines, and I don't have to carry two fuel jugs around.
