Can anyone recommend the best way to smoke canopies? I tried to smoke the canopy for my 4*60 with DieRite. Used per instructions and left it in for over a week. But to my dismay, the canopy was only a light, light smoke. Could barely tell....
Thanks!

We used a Lexan paint to tint the windows on my sons r/c car. It was translucent, and worked well. Dark enough to look like tint, but you could still see though it. Loren

Will take dye..at least this one did..
It is Rit #13 Purple, heat the water to maybe 110F, and soak for a few hours, heating the water ever so often.
I used 2 packets of dye and some salt in an aluminum turkey pan, Wash the canopy good with dish soap first and rinse all the soap off.
That's how I did this one, anyway.
