I have a Great Planes Tiger Moth and I want to put the black copeing arround the conkpits. It looks like black rubber.
Any ideas on how to make the coping will be of great help.
HELP !!

That fun to do. Find the right size tube at hardware store or anywhere else for that matter and carefully split it lengthwise. The trick here is to cut in a straight line. Lay it in a groove somewhere and draw a strait line. I've used insulation off wire. Look around. Leather lining from an old pair of shoes might be nice, the fine thin leather in dress shoes (the thrift store).

Your suggestions sound like the right ideas. I like the wire insulation suggestion.
Thank you.
