Default Retract Question

I have a set of retracts that are not as smooth as I like. I think this will do the job:

http://dreamworksrc.com/catalog/thin...ngs-p-810.html

I wanted to see if regular 3 in 1 oil is simliar and safe to inject into retracts or do I need to by the lubricate listed above?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

I think that regular 3-in-1 oil would probably make the o-rings swell and bind in the cylinders. I would check with an air cylinder supplier to see what they recommend.

This will do the trick. You have the right stuff. It works great and is long lasting.

Pure mineral oil works great also. You can get it at the grocery store.

Air tool oil is made for tools using the black buna-n o rings. Paintball gun oil is pretty similar stuff too if there's a store near you that has it.
