GOOP Shines Again

Now this is RC related. The vehicle is my 97 Jeep airplane transporter that I use to carry my airplanes when I go to the club field. Inspection and registration is about to run out end of September. I had a hole in my parking light lens that needed replacement. Ordered online got it delivered $13.50 vs dealer $44.50 plus tax. While installing I noticed headlights were filled with water. About ¼” full plus water drops on inside of lens. As I inspected how water entered, I pulled the lens a bit and it popped out in my hand. A close inspection revealed a channel in the light box with an adhesive that held and sealed the lens.
So the repair, enter my SPAD airplane Goop. I scraped and cleaned the glue channel. Polished the lens. Then applied Goop to the channel and placed the lens in the channel. Tape held it to dry. This should get me past inspection. Then I'll evaluate whether to keep as is or replace with new.
I use GOOP a lot for RC use and other use. Great stuff.

The Goop is magic stuff. I use it and the 6000 clone for a lot of home stuff too. I had a headlight that filled up too. I drilled a hole in the bottom for a drain. I like to be low on headlight fluid. I will have to buff up my PT Cruise headlights again too.
