many engine brands have a hole in the high speed needle with a set screw, you can use a piece of 2-56 rod thru a hole in the cowl into the high speed needle & tighten the set screw, file a flat spot on the 2-56 rod where the set screw will be located. If you dont have the hole in the high speed needle you can use something like a nyrod outer tube slipped over the needle with some epoxy & extended thru the cowl.

Maybe some type of fuel line or automotive vacuum hose can be slipped over the NV and used as an extension. Check to see if rotating the carb helps also.

I have two TT91FS. For the high speed needle valve extensions, I used a long reach allen wrench. As Gil said above, just unscrew the set screw at the end of the needle valve, insert the allen wrench and reinstall the screw. Works good. Check back this evening, I'll post a pic. (at work now)

What size allen wrench do you use Cruzomatic. ???
Also I have a needle valve on an older engine I bought used, and the set screw is rusted and there is a piece of wire sticking out the hole on the top of the needle valve. Any ideas on how I can get this out and not have to get a new needle valve. The needle valve is on a ASP91 (Red Head) engine. Is there any other brands of needle valves that will work to replace the old one?

Not sure what size the allen wrench is? I'm at work now, I'll check later on this evening and shoot you that pic I promised. Check back.

Here are the pics as promised. Good luck. As far as the size I think it's 1/16. Do a little trail and error, you should find the size that fits perfect in there. Just back out the set screw, insert the allen wrench and retighten the set screw. You're all set.

If you use soft wire in place of an allen wrench the wire will bend in a crash, not try and rip the needle valve off.
