Default Will PlexiGlas Hold up to Fuel?

I am putting together my DP Ultimate and up front is a huge ply plate that allows you access to your fuel tank compartment. I want to cut out a window so that I can see the area without having to take off the plate every time I need to make a change. If not Plexiglas what else could I use that could take the heat and abuse from the Saito180?

Thanks

Plexiglass will not hold up to glow fuel. The Alcohol will end up crazing and cracking the material. You may want to use Lexan, but keep it away from gasoline.
