I just finished moving in to my new 14x28 workshop. The main room is 14x20. The second room is the paint room and has a paasche paint booth.

Coming from someone who in my opinion has the nicest model shop I've ever seen, that compliment means a lot. Thank you very much. By the way, I think your planes look as good as your shop!

I just started back into the hobby in October. Here's my temporary setup as I work on a Sig Kadet Senior. I'm working out plans to upgrade my space to include a magnetic table and other niceties. This thread has been inspiring.

Well I have made some updates to my work shop... My wife came home the other day and I have ben painting in the am and she could still smell it in the house that night...It too cold to paint outside and I have some large painting and filling projects coming up really soon so I built me a 8"x 8' x 9" paint booth with vapor barrier....
Here are pic's before the paint booth and then the paint booth...
My wife does not know I built it and I am going on 4 days so far without here seeing it.....

Here's my 18x14 basement room conversion. Vinyl flooring on clearance at Menards, shelving from an old Kardex filing system, table top from Ikea that needs base completed, you'll also see some corner desks I got from our company move - it's fun to bargain hunt, but I'm running out of room! Need more peg board put up, there's a 4 drawer vertical file behind me, and I need to run two more electrical drops, thinking about some dust collection system - Harbor Freight has a small unit for $100. Handy retractable extension hanging from the ceiling. Oh, and there's a cable drop.......

Here is where the magic happens! My workshop is much larger, but I am ashamed after seeing how neat you guy's places are. (plus I could not get the shot that I wanted.) I dabble in a little of everything, so I am pretty spread out. Plus I have to share my area with a cat (under the bench) and a 3 year old. (That's his white chair)

Here we go, just moved house, but all is coming now around, so time to start building a new airplane. I setup my workshop in the garage, which I like best since then it is very easy to pick up a plane and load it into the car.
For years I always kept my fuel in the garage in cans, 7-8 gallons max, but my wife complained, so I bought a safe to keep the fuel. Also I just bought my first electro plane, so I keep my LiPo's in there as well.
Also installed smoke detectors and a fire extinguisher.
I am planning to replace the worktable with a workbench, so I can install drawers as well to keep stuff. Will look around this thread for some additional inspiration!

Here's mine, please excuse the mess, there's one under construction right now. Always messy when one is on the bench. Check out my dog Benjamin on the bottom right. He sends his hellos.

wagen017,
The issue with the photos has happened to me a few times. The cause is an unfathomable mystery! The solution is a bit more mundane. I find that if I wait a day, then go back and edit the post by deleting the attached photos, then editing again and re-attach the photos, they will usually attach in the proper manor.
