Default Skeletor's control horn idea

Cool idea, Skeletor (http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/Hard...1212345/tm.htm post #14)

Do you put the 1/64" plywood cover OVER the control horn after you recess it? I'll bet that would look EXTRA cool- just a piece of plastic sticking out of the wood. Heck, you could even cover right up to it (just don't melt the horn..heheh). I suppose you would have to sand the burried part of the horn a bit to roughen it up and knock of any curves around the point where the "T" comes together.

drbutton - instead of sanding away the fillet on the control horn which would weaken it, just bevel the inside of the cutout on the piece of plywood that goes over the horn.

I really like this idea too. I'm going to try it out one of these days.
