My wife has had to undergo a serious operation and will be on IV treatment at home for next six to eight weeks. The pharmacy has introduced a new type pump that is completely self contained. My wife being the wonderful woman she is (Got her trained on how to look for things) saw the pump and beamed WOW you can use those in your planes. I have already taken one and using a syringe put in about 10 oz of water into bladder of pump and removed the flow rate valve from line. It will maintain constant flow in any postion both with container lower and higher than the line end. Don't know if they will work for fuel or not but its an idea for one engine I have that seems to need constant pressure to achive a smooth idle. Any ideas or thought on use of something like this ?

do you mean the pumps that have the arms with balls that push on a tube? i have one of these types from a car washer system for my fuel, its a good speed and hasnt shown any sign of damage from the fuel.
Just realised you mean in the plane, mines for pumping fuel into the plane
