Default What size dowel hardpoint for Nelson hardware?

Ok nobody on the Giant scale side seems to build anymore.

What size dowels are you using for hardpoints when utilizing Nelson or H-9 hardware for the control surfaces. I am use to using large control horns.

Thanks for the help

Not familiar with their horns, do they use a single screw through middle? I just did some of the DuBro 1/4 scale for both elevators and the pull-pull on rudder. I used 3/4" dowel for hard points. You might call the fellows at Nelson and see what they recommend. Good luck.

Yea pretty much the same method. 8-32 or 10-32 screw through a dowel. The directions just state use what is suitable. 3/4" does sound better than 3/8". I want to make sure I get this right.
