I just recently aquired an Goldberg Super Chipmunk that has original covering on it and in need of some repairs. Any suggestions on what product to use that would match the original covering product? Obviously Goldberg is no longer making their covering. Any help would be great...I don't want to strip the whole plane just to fix the elevator stab!

Thanks

A quick eBay search finds a seller with some ultracote to unload. You might also try calling some smaller, or older hobby shops to see what they might have collecting dust on the shelf.

This morning my son was flying my PT40 and encountered a shrtage of altitude
and an excess of turf. So I made a trip to the local hobby shop
(ABC Hobby in LaCrosse, WI) for a new nosegear block, spinner and prop and noticed
that they had about 8 or 10 rolls of Ultracoat left on the rack so I would say if you can
find the color name or part number you have a pretty good chance of finding some
around somewhere.

Hanger 9 now makes Ultra Cote, it should be the same as the old CG stuff.

If you can find Oracover, it is Ultracoat that I believe was sold in the European market. Same exact stuff!
Where you can find it may be the problem. As stated previously, the Hanger 9 ultracoat should be the same thing!
