How do you fix a slimline muffler?

Fellow Flyers,
I have a Slimline Pitts muffler for my GP P51. The muffler was damaged on a belly landing by bending the exhaust tubes back-wards and thus cracking them at the joint between muffler chamber and pipes. The cracks have created a pressure loss and erratic engine performance during subsequent flights. Is there anyway to solder or repair the pipes in order to solve the engine run problem? Can always buy a new muffler but if I can avoid it I would prefer low cost repair over replacement cost. Any ideas out there?
respectfully,
