Hi
Anybody has any good tips on bending 4mm music wire for a landing gear?
I was thinking on a steel plate with two cylindrical pins to bend against.

Thanks for the answer.
I orderd a K&S Mighty bender yesterday so if I'm lucky I will have it next week or something.

You can USUALLY get ONE bend from music wire without destroying the "structure" of the metal. Using a metal bender is USUALLY the best way to go.
Remember, bend the piece a little more than you need because it will spring back slightly.

Be great if you have access to a forge or pottery kiln. Does anyone have any tips on if and how to put controlled heat over 20+" of wire any other way?
At this point, remove the wire from the heat

Just my 2 cents but I don't think that it will work.
