Default monokote residue

I am recovering a set of fully sheeted wings. The insignia blue had to be heated and pulled off when I did this it left a blue residue . What is the best way to remove this residue.

Thanks for your input. I' ve found that acetone works very well. You have to do it a little at a time so it does not saturate through the balsa and damage the foam underneath. Then lightly sand it. I finished one wing panel and it came out very well. No imperfections show through the new monokote.

Try CA Debonder - that has worked well for me to remove monokote adhessive in the past from on top of monokote. Not sure how well that will work on top of balsa ...

CA Debonder contains acetone. Just stick with the acetone it's cheaper.
