I recently finished putting together my Hangar 9 AT-6 Texan ARF. I flew it for the first time saturday and sunday. The biggest problem I have found is the crappy retracts Hangar 9 puts on this plane. Both on take off and landing one if not both landing gears want to fold under. I have made sure that they are completely locked into position, but they feel extremely loose and wiggle way too much.
Does anybody have any suggestions on a better quality mechanical retracts to replace these "crappy ones"?

Pull the retracts out. Many of them have adjustment points for minimizing "slop".
Another possibility would be to replace them with a decent set of retracts that have a 3/16" strut. I know Robart makes them with 3/16" struts and "I THINK" Dave Brown does also.
