Default restoring discolored aluminum

restoring discolored aluminum

I have an engine that is discolored probably due to using the wrong cleaner. What is the best way to restore the bright aluminum finish to the engine? There are too many nooks and cranny’s to polish.

Thanks.

Bill

There is an aluminum cleaner/brightener made by Zep-it's called Zep-A-Lume, get it at Home Depot or Lowe's

Remove any rubber o-rings ect. before using it.
Alternatively you could re-clean it with oven cleaner, and you get a nice charcol black overall finish......
