Default Preserve CA

To prevent an opened container of glue from drying out before use, store it in an airtight jar or bottle with a package of silica gel.

The jar is a nice tip but I think the silaca gel will absorb the moisture right out of the glue if the top is not on properly, which we all know the top is never on tight enough.

Good Luck

CA glue does not contain moisture. Moisture, in fact, will quickly catalyze the curing process. Keep it dry. Some people store the glue in an airtight container in the fridge to extend lifetime.

my practice is to pour 1 oz out of the 8oz bottle, into the 1 oz bottle, put the 7 0z back in the freezer. it lasts a long time usually a few months at least - cause I use a lot. buy in 8 oz, bottles 2 or 3 at an order from Lone Star. would go broke if I bought in little bottles from LHS. have not had any go bad. dick

Even better it should pull moisture right out of the "glue" . . . moisture is what cures
CA.
