I'm getting ready to do some painting work on a set of fiberglassed floats for my seaplane. I was looking at Ultracote paint ..... but boy that is a real scary thought after all the time invested in this plane, I havn't had much luck with the spray can paint.
What type and where is the best place to get some paint mixed up to match a Ultracote covering ?? I allready have a pretty good spray gun to apply it. I want something to match and a good hard set.
Thanks for any help.

The Ultracote paint should be just fine. I would sand the floats down with fine sandpaper, wipe them down with alcohol, prime and sand until satisfied with the finish and shoot the color on.

Depends on how much you want to spend.
"Glass-Kote" (a replacement for K&B epoxy paint) is a 2 part paint that will dry to an exceptionally hard finish. I don't know if you can get it in 'custom' colors or not.
Automotive 2 part paint. I know this can be obtained in 'custom' colors.

Campy,
Do you mean KlassKote??? www.klasskote.com ? It comes in a bunch of 'basic' colors if you need to mix your own, and the website is pretty helpful. But, it could be expensive to get started.
Not sure if you were referring to KlassKote or not?
